The championships of Lithuania, Latvia and the Baltic Sea will be concluded on September 27 and 28 in Utena and its surroundings. The organizers presented the competition documents and announced the event program.
The hustle and bustle of the rally in Utena and its surroundings will start already on Thursday. Still, this day will be dedicated only to the most important formalities of the rally – the administrative commission, the inspection of the sports cars, the reece and the opening of the service area.
On September 27, the reece of special stages and the technical commission will continue in the early morning. Afterward, the participants will have the opportunity to test themselves and their cars on the shakedown stage, which is conveniently located right next to Utena, from 10.00 to 12.00. Shortly after lunch, at 13.00, all guests of the rally are invited to the official opening of the rally, which will take place at Aušros Street 49, in Utena. During the opening of the competition, the participants will drive their sports cars past the ceremonial arch, be interviewed by the hosts of the event and proceed to the first special stage, which will start at 14:25. On Friday, participants can expect a total of five special stages, two of which will be held on the night streets of Utena. They will start at 7.30 pm.
Saturday is even more intense – eight special stages and more than 80 sports kilometers. The participants will drive on the best roads of the Utena, Anykščiai, and Zarasai districts and return to the service zone three times, where they will have the opportunity to repair their cars and rest. After an exhausting day and the end of the competition, the selected cars will be checked as usual and the results will be calculated. While this procedure, which requires a lot of care, takes place, the guests and participants of the event will be entertained by “DJ MIX”. After the official results of the rally have been announced, the award ceremony and prize-giving will begin at 8.30 pm on the large stage behind the Utena House of Culture. After the last champagne has been poured, the “AC/DC Tribute.lt” team will take over the stage and fill the whole of Utena with rock’n’roll.
