The shakedown of the Samsonas Rally Utena 2024 has a number of attributes that are characteristic of other rally stages – wide road, forest, corners on a fast narrow road or 90-degree corners. This stage near Utena is ideal for testing yourself and your car before the competition.

Two turns (fast left and 90 right) in the open area for observation. This place can be easily reached from Jasoniai village.

The special stage winds around Lake Duobys and begins on a narrow but fast road. There are several technical spots and jumps before and the section in the village of Pakryžė has the task of lowering the average speed, as it is extremely narrow and technical between the houses. Later, the road widens and gets faster to the finish. The highlight of this stage is an extremely dangerous right corner over a crest with a steep incline.

An open and comfortable area to watch the rally, through which the cars will pass twice. From the recommended viewing place on the hill, you can see the jump in the distance, followed by a quick 90-degree turn to the right. After this, the cars come towards you and make a tricky, very long left corner over a hill. There is plenty of room here for comfortable spectating. This place can be reached from the village of Narvydžiai.

This recommended spectator spot is on a hill from where you can see the cars coming towards you on a long road with several fast corners. As the cars come towards you, the highlight of this spot is the extremely dangerous right corner through the jump. It is only possible to reach this spot before the stage closes, which is at 13:15.

After a long straight, drivers will suddenly change their driving direction on the tarmac surface in a fairly fast and wide hairpin located near the church. Convenient access from Spitrėnai village.

Sharp and dangerous jump, after which competitors immediately will jump into the next jump. It’s a great spot for those who like to follow rally cars as long as possible. Here you will be able to see even a 1,5 km section of the stage. Access – before stage closure or coming safely from the 3rd recommended spot on foot.

On the way to the finish, legendary Vilkablauzdė jumps will be waiting for competitors. Rally cars will be jumping there for the first time in an opposite and unusual direction. You can reach one of the most impressive spectating spots of this rally before stage closure or by arriving via the gravel road from Ruzgiškės village (road 4907).

The start of the stage with impressive terrain leads along a wide and fast road, slowed down by several 90-degree corners. The SS reaches the village of Duliai, which greets with an old, crumbling tarmac surface that runs through the entire village until it turns back into a gravel road. At the end of the special stage, the nature of the road changes again as it enters a very narrow, heavily wooded section where participants can expect some extremely technical sections.

The recommended place for spectators is on a very comfortable hill, from which cars comes to a fast and long 90-degree right corner that immediately turns into a long left turn. It is comfortable to watch, there is plenty of space and there is side access road from the A6 nearby, next to another recommended spectator spot.

It is a very suitable place to watch the rally, as you can see the two 90-degree corners, one on the left and the other on the right, at some distance from each other. The area is very spacious, so you can choose a comfortable observation spot. You can reach this spot before the stage closes (13:55) or from the road A6.

The recommended spot for spectators is in the picturesque village of Duliai, which is very easy to reach from the road A6. There you will find a fast right-hand corner with a double change of road surface. Crews arrive on a paved road and at the corner they come to a small, slippery gravel section, after which they continue on tarmac.

Here competitors will come to Šeduikiai village at full speed, but an unusual crossroad awaits them. With a slightly unusual quick right turn, crews will jump into a wider and faster gravel road leading to Bliakiemis village. Going a little further in the driving direction, spectators will be able to find some interesting fast turns with elevation changes. Convenient access from Aliai village, road 4902 Utena Tauragnai.

Perhaps it’s the closest place to the rally centre – Utena City. Spectators will be able to see how drivers will be taking two fast, but quite tricky turns to the left and right in a section of several hundred meters. You can reach this place in two ways: by coming via a side road from 4902 road Utena-Tauragnai or by walking from the finish line of this stage located in Biliakiemis village.

This year, the Samsonas Rally Utena will present the crews and spectators of the rally with a completely different configuration of the city stage of Utena, with at least a few special features. First of all, the drivers will have the opportunity to warm up their tires on the Vaižgantas street before starting the SS in order to have maximum grip. The entire special stage will run along the eastern part of Lake Dauniškis, and part of the route will run directly along the shore of the lake, where an illuminated fountain will provide an additional effect. The special stage mainly consists by 90-degree corners of varying complexity.

The fast, winding road that starts in Aliai reaches the junction to a very wide, fast, hilly section known to many, ending with the legendary Šeduikiai corner over the crest. From Šeduikiai, the road narrows and winds its way through the hills on extremely fast but technical sections until you reach the extremely picturesque shore of Lake Politiškis. At the same time, it is a very narrow section that requires a lot of precision.

This recommended spectator area is located on a hill overlooking the junction where the crews will make a 90-degree turn onto the wide gravel road on the left. Plenty of space to watch, very convenient access from Bilakiemis.

Special stage starts at the Vilkablauzdė and will leave crews breathless from the very first few meters, as the road is extremely technical, fast and with legendary jumps. This section ends with a well-known Spitrėnai hairpin on tarmac. From there, a short asphalted and slightly wider road leads with easier sections, but not for long, because towards the end of the stage there are again some extremely technical places that have claimed more than one victim in the past.

At this recommended spectator spot, you can see the legendary jumps of Vilkablauzdė, which the cars reach via a narrow, fast road. There is plenty of space for spectators on the left-hand side of the road along one of the jumps. Access before the stages closes (08:00) or from the village of Vidžiūnai.

A recommended spot for spectators is near the church of Spitrėnai, where you can see the cars coming along the narrow road, which has to make a wide, almost 180-degree left turn on the tarmac. Convenient access, plenty of space to watch.

From the hill inside the track, a 300 m panorama opens up to the interesting section with a beautiful landscape background. Here spectators will be able to see how crews will take two interesting turns. At the end of this panoram, competitors will enter the forest, which leads towards Gaižiūnai village. It’s a great place for those who like to have a picnic and watch the action from afar. Access – only before the closure of this stage.

A very contrasting special stage with three different sections. The stage begins on an extremely wide, fast and winding road until it turns off to the right, where an equally fast but already much narrower section begins. After a completely invisible junction, the road narrows completely and becomes much more technical, ending in a forest with lots of hills.

Situated on the hill on the inside of the corner, you can see the cars driving down the wide and fast gravel road as they making the two S-shape corners. Plenty of room to watch, access via a nearby side road or from the start before the stage closes (12:50)

From the hill, on the inside of the corner, you can see two long corners on a fast and wide gravel road. There is plenty of room for spectating, overlooking a long stretch of the road. Access is via a nearby side road.

A special stage where it is important for the crews to find the right rhythm, as most of the stage has a similar characteristic, slightly modified by a section with some slower corners in the middle of the special stage. A large part of the road is in the forest, which has a softer surface in places.

From the hill you can see a very treacherous section where the cars have to make a 90-degree right turn after a very fast corner with a huge downhill. From the hill, there is plenty of space for spectating and very easy access.

A recommended spectating spot is the tight 90-degree left turn at the crossroads, which is very open and offers plenty of space. It is possible to walk further to see a few more corners with a similar profile. Very convenient access from Vyžuonos.

A recommended spectator spot with a very comfortable approach, where you will see a very sharp 180-degree left turn on the downhill, before which the cars have to make several medium-speed corners. Plenty of room to watch.

This stage has powerstage status and requires a lot of courage and precision to claim the maximum number of points, as the stage is extremely fast and technical, only slowing down in the braking zone and the 90-degree corner. A special feature of the stage is the crossing of the Šventoji river on a fairly wide bridge.

Not usual spot – right turn, which really soon tightens to 180-degree hairpin. Spectators can reach this place by a very convenient access from 118 road Utena-Kupiškis.
