Fifth event of Lithuania automobile rally championship and Lithuania automobile rally sprint championship will be held 1 – 2 of October in Zarasai and Utena area. It will be the final event of all the season. By the way, entries of Latvian rally championship will also finalize their season here as well. So, spectators will be able to see a lot of breathtaking moments and tense fight on which positioning of final standing will depend.
This event becomes the final stage of rally season for second year in a row. However, this year event has new but legendary name – “Rally Aukštaitija”. This name might be familiar for those who were interested in this discipline in 2003- 2009. Main partner of event – Martynas Samsonas, who have his name to last year’s even “Samsonas Around 7 Lakes Rally”.
This years’ final event of Lithuanian and Latvian championships will be more diverse than last year. Well- known Special Stages as well as brand new or long-time not used Special Stages will be prepared for entries. Friday’s cherry on the cake – night Special Stage.
Organizer of event ASK “Akseleratorius” announces that rally will be held in two districts – Zarasai and Utena area. Start and Finish will be held in Zarasai. Overall distance for rally championship entries – 404 kilometer, 128 km overall distance of Special Stages.
Competitors will drive 36 km total devided into 5 Special Stages on first rally day. 9 Special Stage and a little bit less than 92 km for the second rally day after which not only winners will be determined but overall champions of the season as well.
Organizer informs that rally will be free for all spectators traditionally. Opening date for “Rally Aukštaitija 2021” entries this Friday (10 September, 2021) at 13 o’clock.
