Competitors of Lithuanian rally and rally sprint as well as Latvia rally championships will compete in final event „Rally Aukštaitija“ on 1-2 of October. The entry list of „Rally Aukštaitija“ was almost full during just a few days. Fastest sportsmen of Lithuania can be found on it as well as sportsmen from foreign countries.

The entry list of „Rally Aukštaitija“ which was fulfilled in less than a week shows that spectators will see the fastest sportsmen of Lithuania as well as crews from abroad. “Eurolamp WRT” team from Ukraine with WRC “Mini” will raise the dust in Zarasai and Utena regions. Crew of Valerii Gorban and Serey Larens have big chances to win title of champions.

“Rally Aukštaitija” will be the competition determining whether guests will leave behind their main opponents – Vaidotas Žala with Andrius Malnieks and Martynas Samsonas with Ervinas Snitkas.

Another crew will be under the flag of Ukraine – Serhii Potiiko and Ivan Myshin will compete with “Škoda Fabia R4” constructed in Lithuania.

Few crews from Poland and Latvia will also participate in “Rally Aukštaitija“. Well – known for lithuanian rally fans Hubert Laskowski will compete in „Peugeot 208 R2” car. He will compete with Lithuanian sportsmen as well as with rival from Spain one year younger Gil Membrado. Much more experienced polish driver Jocz Tymoteusz will also compete in the same class. Fourteen years old Kaspar Kasari from Estonia will also participate in the same class with „Ford Fiesta R2”.

Organisers of final event will prepare fourteen Special Stages of 130 km total length for rally competitors. Length of Special Stages for entrants of rally spring will be twice shorter – almost 60 km. 5 Specials Stages will be held on first rally day. Interesting that last Special Stages on Friday will be held on streets of Zarasai when it gets dark. Rest 9 decisive Special Stages will be held on the second day. After which new rally champions will be titled.
